Children’s Church

The Mission

Our Children’s Church, offered during Sunday Morning Worship, stands as a place where young hearts encounter the profound love and teachings of Jesus Christ. In recognizing the unique curiosity and enthusiasm of children, we craft an immersive experience tailored to their age and understanding. As our congregation gathers for worship, we provide a parallel journey for our children, aged 3 years old to 5th grades, filled with dynamic lessons and interactive activities. Our mission is to nurture a generation that not only hears the Word but Lives it.

Children ages 3 years to 5 years will remain in the Education Building the entire service. The older children join the congregation for the song service, then meet at the flagpole and are escorted to the education building. You will need to pick them up in the lobby of the education building.

Each child from nursery to 5th grades are required to be registered for our check in system. You can register/check-in for Sunday School in the education building lobby. If you are attending the worship service, there is a check in station in the vestibule of the sanctuary.

Children’s Church is held in Building D, Education Building.

The adult who volunteer in Children’s Church are members of New Town Baptist Church who love children and have a passion for teaching and nurturing children to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord. Each volunteer has been screened with a background check.

When and Where

Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning on the main floor of the Education Building (building D).

Children’s Church is not mandatory for those in these age groups. Parents may keep their children with them in the main sanctuary as they desire. There is also a nursery room available inside the sanctuary, in the right wing side of church.
