Children’s Church

The Mission

The mission of our Children’s Church at New Town Baptist Church is to teach our children, ages 2-5, about our Jesus, who died to rescue people from sin and give eternal life to those who trust in Him. This mission is enacted through teaching of the Bible, God’s Holy Word, with stories and educational techniques that relate to children of those ages. In addition to worship and learning in a structured adult supervised environment, we prepare them for the transition to worship in the main sanctuary as they grow out of this age bracket.

Children’s Church is held in Building D, Education Building.

The adults who volunteer in Children’s Church are members of New Town Baptist Church who love children and have a passion for teaching and nurturing children to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord. Each volunteer has been screened with a background check.

When and Where

Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning on the main floor of the Education Building (building D).

Children’s Church is not mandatory for those in these age groups. Parents may keep their children with them in the main sanctuary as they desire. There is also a nursery room available inside the sanctuary, in the right wing side of church.
